A study of Performing Arts Activities and Facilities on East District of Tainan City

碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系碩博士班 === 95 === Performing arts is an important part of cultural in the country , and the facilities which provided performing arts to be displayed and make performers and audiences in exchanges are necessary .Currently studies focus on the specialized type of indoor activities and facilities，and the research about unspecialized type of outdoor activities or facilities is lack .Based on the point that before make plan of activities or facilities, it should first master the public’s performing arts life and how they use the facilities .Take the Tainan Eastern for example, to investigation the localized activities and facilities to understand the status of localized activities and facilities, as a basis for planning policy of performing arts activities and facilities. The results are as follows : In activities,besides music, the results of a study published are maximum. Activities mainly at night time and holidays ,that match the people’s leisure time .Except for the park，it is most at commercial areas.During the survey, nearly half activities cannot be obtained from the official platform, so that people still have some obstacles to get the information. Tainan Eastern performing arts facilities are total 57 , indoor and outdoor-type are about half of all , public facilities account for about 60% ,most at the Cultural District , around 44%. The facilities are most applicable to music and applicable to the dance at least.The average per 1,000 people have indoor specialized facilities 20 seats. Have fixed seats in the indoor- unspecialized facilities about 22 seats.IN that without fixed seats each have about 40 m² area. Outdoor facilities per 10,000 people have about 1.8 places. The use of facilities, about 70% rarely has held activities, it concentrated in 14 mainly facilities.The outdoor unspecialized ones , only proportion 30% of all has held nearly half of the activities.On the use , the music and study results published used most widely types of facilities, and outdoor facilities-based. And theater and dance for the more limited , the use of a multi-purpose hall is the most. In addition, a facilities on commercial area had be used as high as 70%, and held as 1 / 4 performances,it show that the commercial function to improve the facilities used with a obvious effect. As the above, the propose of activities is diversified the activity type , increase the chance for learning groups to perform, and increasing the information platform for public.In the facilities, it should provide information platform , and commercial functions to improve it operating.In addition, it should improve the equipments of outdoor facilities, increase female sanitary equipmen, and the training ofstag technical staff for unspecialized facilities.
