Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系碩博士班 === 95 === In this thesis, finite element analyses are performed for bonded composite patch repair of centre cracked aluminum sheet to reduced stress intensity factor. The finite element package ANSYS is used to compute the stress intensity factor at the crack tip for the aluminum sheet. Effectiveness of composite patch repair is measured by achievable reduction of the stress intensity factor at the crack tip. Various widths, heights, and thicknesses of composite patch are used to repair an aluminum sheet with a crack of different lengths. Find out the smallest patch size when the stress intensity factor at the crack tip is smaller than the fracture toughness of the material.
