However, the sizable inductor device obstructes the packaging of the power converter modules within an electronic product. This thesis proposes the replacement of inductor device by Generalized Impedance Converter (GIC) so that the circuit layout could be further reduced in the integrated circuit design. Theoretical analysis, simulation, and field tests were conducted to verify the performance of the voltage regulation for the proposed circuit.
