The purpose of this paper is to focus on the impact on the familial cohesion for participating in recreational sports in multi-purpose sports grounds. The respondents of this research are consumers in TAROK Sporots Plaza in Taiwan. The main interview items included the background of interviewee, activity survey and family cohesion checklist. In this study, 1418 effective samplings were collected to undergo statistic analyses such as one way ANOVA, χ2 test , correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Conclusions were achieved as follows: 1.Age, gender, marital status, parental status and peer relation are cognate factors in this research. 2.The factors that affect the familial cohesion are marital status, parental status, and peer relation. 3.The inclination of a household member’s participating in recreational sports with his/her family show the difference by marital status, parental status, consumer time, peer relation, age, education levels. 4.There is a positive correlation between the inclination of a household member’s participating in recreational sports with his/her family and the familial cohesion. According to the result of this research, following suggestions are concluded: governments should build up the correlations between the familial participating in recreational sports and the familial cohesion through education curriculum; thus, schoolchildren who acquire the concept are capable of realizing a better familial relationship. It is believed that having a healthy family relationship would lessen social problems; thus, a better society would be achieved.
