Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系碩士班 === 95 === The purpose of this study was to know the process of highly-cared adolescents who were treated by adventure-based counseling program and to examine the effect of their self-concept. The study adopted a method of case study. Participants in this study were eleven adolescents who took part in a seven-day adventure-based counseling program. All of the observation was written by the researcher in the files and the feedback was done by participants. Finally, the researcher combined the interviews of instructors, social workers with participants to analyze the effects of adventure-based counseling program on highly-cared adolescents’ self-concept. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. Combining the record of observation with the interviews, this program had effects upon adolescents’ physical-self (body image), social-self (improvement of interpersonal relationship), moral-self (environmental ethic), and mental-self (self-awareness, self-confident and emotional control et al.). 2. According to the interviews of participants and social workers, most of the participants apply their experiences and learning to their lives, jobs and studies.
