The subjects were 435 middle-age women with average age 47.39± 6.17 in the northern region of Taiwan. The subjects were administered with Social Physique Anxiety Scale (SPAS) and Eating Attitude Test 26 (EAT-26. The collected data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA (independent) and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1. The difference of “physique presentation comfort” between ideal-weight group and over-weight group was significant (ideal-weight group > over-weight group). 2. The difference of “dieting, bulimia, and food preoccupation” between under-weight group and ideal-weight group were significant (under-weight group > ideal-weight group), and the difference of “dieting” between under-weight group and over-weight group was significant (under-weight group > over-weight group). 3. The difference of exercise behavior among under-weight, ideal-weight and over-weight was not significant. 4. For under-weight group, the influence of “social physique anxiety” and “disordered eating” on exercise behavior were not significant. 5. For ideal-weight group, exercise behavior was predicted by “physique presentation comfort” and “bulimia and food preoccupation” (8%). 6. For over-weight, exercise behavior was predicted by “physique presentation comfort” (5%). Finally, the results were discussed, and the suggestions of practical application and future research were offered. none 盧俊宏 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 72 zh-TW
