Summary:碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育推廣學系碩士班 === 95 === The aim of this research was to understand and explore the correlation between participation in recreation activities and work pressure/ life quality of the officers at Reserve Command. Using the questionnaire for degrees of recreation activities participation, work pressure and life quality as a research tool, the study would go into the status quo of reserve army officer’s participation in recreation activities, their work pressure and life quality. At the same time, it would apply several background variables to analyze the differences in recreation activities participation, work pressure and life quality among the officers. The research scope of this study was focused at the officers from 7 counties and cities, like Taipei City, Taipei County, Keelung City, Taoyuan County, Hsinchu County, Yilan County and Hualien County, which is the coverage of northern regional headquarter. All of the 426 active-duty officers from the places above would be the target of this study and a census would be conducted to collect the data. The data would be further analyzed by SPSS, adopting statistics methods such as descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’ product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are as follow: 1.It is positive and constructive for the officers in reserve army to participate in recreation activities. 2.There is no significant difference in different background variables among the officers; however, the work pressure is positive among them. 3.There is no significant difference in life quality among the officers from different backgrounds; however, the overall life quality tends to be positive and constructive after participating in recreation activities. 4.There is no significant difference in officer’s work pressure and life quality after participating in recreation activities, and the relationship between overall participation in activities and work pressure/ life quality is negative. 5.The participation in recreation activities and work pressure among the officers have significantly positive effect on all the facets of life quality.
