Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院高階主管管理碩士學程 === 95 === This research intends to survey the competitive advantage and future trend of Taiwan Mobile Phone manufactures. The main structure of this research covers in six dimensions: production, sales and marketing, research and development, finance, organizational structure and information system. The primary data are derived from interviewing the senior managements of Taiwan Mobile Phone manufactures with the questionnaires designed by industry specialties and status. The results are analyzed on the basis of primary and secondary data. The conclusions are summarized as follows: 1. Taiwan Mobile Phone manufacturers fully make use of low cost strategy and efficient global logistic management to achieve Competitive advantage, which include development of new products, reengineering of production process, rapid response time and timely delivery of products. 2. Mobile Phone manufacturers maintain sufficient capital and high intention for investment to capture market opportunities at right moment. 3. In general, Taiwan Mobile Phone manufacturers rely heavily on foreign suppliers for key componentst and related production equipment However, the strength is that the successful experience of Taiwan OEM PC industries could be leveraged to Mobile Phone industries. 4. The most key successful factor is to develop professional human resources for future growth of Taiwan Mobile Phone industry.
