Nowadays most large-sized construction projects are requested to include this kind insurance of which many owners of small-to medium-sized projects have also been aware. The insurance provides risk hedging through contracting and, by its broad use in, the business cycle of the construction industry might be slightly recovered. This study focuses on the identification of impact by the use of the contractors’ all risk insurance in the construction industry. After having the comprehensive literature reviews on construction risks, insurance practices, and development of the industry, a survey, based on a Likert 5-scale-questionnaire method, and statistical analyses, inclusive of description statistics and factor analysis, were used to explore and examine the impact factors. 117 returns out of approximate 400 questionnaires point out that each level of construction practitioners are acceptably aware of this issue according to the reliability and validity analysis. Through the initial 5 hypotheses, the factor extraction concludes 3 components to clearly identify the development impact of the construction industry by contractors’ all risk insurance.
