The goal of this paper investigates the people with the age over sixty-five years old, also known as the population of elderly people. First I analyze the data by the histogram, and further I use the chi-squared independence test, chi-square automatic interaction detection (CHAID), proportional odds models, and multiple correspondence analysis to understand what will cause the elders on the health status. In this study, we try to find the connection between the background of population (eg. age, gender,…etc.) and habits and so on. We research centers for further studies.
