So this thesis discuss dynamic behavior analysis and experiment results for the air-spindle system. First, we used the Finite Difference Method to analyze the performances which include load capacity, stiffness, and realize the aerodynamic effect for the air-bearing. Then, we used the Finite Element Method to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the rotor-bearing system. Finally the Campbell diagram, mode shape and the critical speed versus bearing stiffness diagrams in comparison with the experiment results will be reified in this paper.
