The upper lethal temperature on the small body size,medium body size and large body size of female guppy were 38.5℃,39℃ and 39℃, respectively. The lower lethal temperature on the small body size,medium body size and large body size of male guppy were 9.6℃, 10.1℃ and 9.1℃,respectively. The lower lethal temperature on the small body size,medium body size and large body size female guppy were 9.6℃,10.1℃ and 9℃, respectively. The oxygen consumption of guppy were 0.25±0.07 mg/gw/hr.The lethal dissolved oxygen were 0.42±0.12 mg/L.The lethal pH value were pH≦3 or pH≧12.The lifespan of guppy were 573 days on average. The effective concentrations of MS-222 and 2-Phenoxyethanol in guppy were 100-120 ppm and 500- 600 ppm, respectively. These two concentrations of anesthetics not only reduced dissolved oxygen but also prevent fish from mortality during the anesthetization process.In addition ,the anaesthetize time of Lidocaine solutions on guppy was too long,so it was unsuitable to use on guppy. The standard length and weight were found to be significantly affected by stocking density. However, a negative relationship between the standard length and weight of guppy and the stocking density.In addition,choose 10 from stocking densities of 30 and 40 fry at random,observe the guppies that will be up to the standard length and weight of stocking density of 10 fry after several weeks.After the result shows about 8 weeks,the stocking densities of 30 and 40 fry will be up to the standard length and weight of stocking density of 10.At each brood of guppy that female and male ratio was 0.98:1 (female:male),our results were found to be not significantly with female and male ratio was 1:1 by statistics.The average brood was 31 fry each birth. The average temperature of hatching out fry was 27.1℃.The female guppy produce every 31 day.The body length of the maturity female guppy were 2.57cm. Utilize androgen(Fluoxymeterone) to produce all male guppy, the results show that the dosage was 0.00125 ppm.To examine the effects of different dosage on standard length and weight of guppy,our results indicate that the length and weight of guppy increased relatively with decreasing androgen dosage,a negative relationship between the standard length and weight of guppy and the androgen dosage.In addition,dealt with the group from the guppy of each different dosage,fetched three male guppy to breed with the unprocessed female guppy at random. Our results indicate that the androgen will influence the reproduction ability of the male guppy.The male guppy that the androgen of high dosage had been dealt with is unable to breed.
