Abstract
This study aims to explore the parental possible selves and the needs of parenting education on gravidas .The study was 501 valid samples selected from the gravidas in Taiwan . 「parental possible selves of gravidas scale」 and 「needs of parent education of gravidas scale」 are used for study tool，which the researcher makes up by herself. The data compiled , including 「frequency distribution」, 「percentage」, 「t-test」, 「one-way ANOVA」and 「Multiple regression analysis」,are used for statistical analysis .
The main results of the research are listed as follows:
1.To gravidas hoped selves of possible selves rearch to high degree .
2. To gravidas the feared selves of possible selves are higher than the average.
3.As for the hope selves of the gravidas possible selves , there are no differences in different marital status , the pregnancy frequency , pregnancy period ,child care experience , age ；but there are significant differences in different education degree ,work hours , job classification .
4.The feared selves of the gravidas possible selves show no difference in different marital status , pregnancy period , age ,work hours , job classification ； but a significant difference appears in different the pregnancy frequency , child care experience , education degree .
5.To gravidas , the needs of the content in parent education are of high degree .
6.To gravidas , the ways of implementation in parent education are a bit higher average .
7.In different marital status , pregnancy period , age , there are no differences in the content of parent education ；but a significant difference appears in different the pregnancy frequency , child care experience , work hours , education degree , job classification.
8. In different pregnancy period , age , there are no differences in the way of implementation of parent education ；but there are significant differences in different marital status , the pregnancy frequency , education degree , work hours , child care experience , job classification.
9.The needs of parent education on gravidas coud be effectively predicted by the parental possible selves .
The conclusions and limitations of the study could be referentail suggestions for the gravidas , medical industries , hleath care organization , relevant educational institutes , and the study on it in the future .
