Two features, multihoming and multistreaming, of SCTP enhance traffic transmission reliability of network applications over a SCTP network.This study tries to understand the SCTP performance over a wireless multihoming network environment. Several simulations are executed in this study.Since TCP and UDP are the major IP-based protocols; traffic transmission performance of TCP and UDP would be simulated. NS2 is the simulation platform in this study. With several scenarios, simulation results about traffic transmission performance of the SCTP, TCP, and UDP are collected.
