The appearance of the virtual team theory provides a great opportunity for the development of the research businesses, and information revolution offers an extensive space for the application of Virtual Team theory. The traditional business structure and working pattern have huge changes due to the advanced progress in information technology and Internet communication. In order to cooperate with the environmental changes, businesses therefore create new organizational structure, -Virtual Team. Virtual teams people work together and overcome the limitation of time, space and organizational boundaries to accomplish one particular team goal. via electronic communication and digital technology. Nowadays the virtual teams which break through the organizational barrier have become one strong and powerful trend, and to be considered as the basic working units among the organization in the information era. Most of previous studies relevant to virtual team, over-emphasize on the analysis of Information Technology. However, Hartman and Guss (1996) put forward their views on society and organization culture to successful cooperation posing a larger obstruction than what technology may generate, when promoting virtual teams. since, studies on social humanities naturally cannot be ignored. In life’s developing process, virtual teams are just like the traditional teams, during each stages there may be different pressure or turning points, which then influence the progresses of the teams. If the changes can be detected in advance, it may be advantageous to the teams’ development and target achievements by taking necessary precautions and responding appropriately. By using the System Dynamics and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as the research methods, In this study we escapes from the controversies between quality and quantity methods to make integrated applications of both advantages and combines two methods, and then generalized related factors that influence the life cycle of the team from the literatures regarding “the factors that constitute virtual teams”, “the difference between traditional and virtual teams” as well as “the life cycle of the teams”. We further calculated the priority of each factor weighting of via the software EXPERT CHOICE. The result of this research could be taken as a reference for academic communities that intent to be engaged in related research about virtual teams in the future. In practice, the result could be use for those who are prepared to form the new teams in order to judge their turning points of the life cycle, appropriately allocate the resources in advance, provide the solution, and successfully achieve the team goal.
