Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處體育教學碩士班 === 95 === Purpose: to investigate how implementation of inclusion physical education course affected peers of mental retarded students in grade schools. Method: the subject was a inclusion course consisting of school children of fourth, fifth and sixth grades in a grade school in Taoyuan; “TEE BALL” was used to implement the inclusion physical education course. One week before the implementation of course questionnaires were filled out, next ten-week inclusion physical education course “TEE BALL” was carried out, and post-test was conducted one week after the course ended. The primary observed variable is “Grade Schoolchildren’s Attitudes toward Mental Retarded Peers” (including cognitive, emotional and behavioral scales). The data collected was analyzed by related sample t-test & ANOVA; the significant level of this research was set at α=.05. Results:1. After the implementation of inclusion physical education course, girls scored better than boys in terms of the overall attitude scale and cognitive, emotional and behavioral scale and the results all reached significant.
2. After the implementation of inclusion physical education course, schoolchildren of fourth scored better than schoolchildren of fifth and sixth in terms of the overall attitude scale and the results reached significant. Conclusion:Based on the result of research, it’s found that after the implementation of inclusion physical education, grade schoolchildren show a more positive attitude toward peers of mental retardation.
