Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處造形藝術碩士專班 === 95 === Abstract This thesis mainly bases on the unbalanced phenomena of technology orientation and the changes of living environments. It tries to use three series of art works, such as “Rural Series”, “Green and Red” and “Traces of Lost”, to show how technology affect the living space around us. In addition to art works, there are some related analysis and discusser in this thesis to interpret the contents and meaning of these art works. The research uses what the Greek philosopher, Abdera Protagora, said ” man is the measure of all things” as a start and the theory of Anthropocentrism to explore the reasons of environmental changes. Besides that, the researcher takes Anthropocentrism of Bryan G. Norton, theories of W. Blackstone and Paul W. Taylor and Environment Declaration of U.N. for reference to study the relationships between human beings and the environmental changes. Also, the researcher makes use of digital and technical remote sensed images as basis to create works from the historic and humane viewpoints. The researcher uses acrilan, canvas, collage and complex media as the main performance types to create works to state various social phenomena of technology development in three parts. The first part is the “Rural Series”, the researcher uses this series to illustrate the problems of over-development. The second one is the “ Green and Red“, it shows the social contour in a micro way and uses colors and lines to display the trauma and changes of our living space. The third one is the “Traces of Lost”. It represents the phenomena of over-technical developments in the society and can be seen as a characteristic of post-modernity.
