Two stages of action researches were employed for a cycle of research. The following two purposes were achieved: 1) develop the action strategies for narrative therapy with children; 2) with a case study, record and analyze the problem story and visual frame resources, as well as the transitions of the case development with alternative stories. Thick description of “Nine initial action strategies for narrative therapy with children” and “Hsiao-yu’s narrative world” were presented as research results. Lastly, discussions and reviews on the practice of narrative therapy with children, research methods, and research limitations were provided, so as to present further contribution and refreshed view on the practice and research of this topic.
