Not only focusing on the building structure itself as the old approach/method does, is the subject also analyzing the connection and the influence of the occupants’ sense perception and the obsolete buildings. Today, many historical buildings in Hualien have been kept and renew for the unique historical symbolization. These old Japanese-style buildings being upgraded and upholstered as restaurants retain many meaningful memories and stories of habitants’ live through giving consumers strong sensory satisfaction of vision.
