碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 漁業生產與管理研究所 === 95 === This study focuses on developing the recreational fishery at Hai-Kou area by building a multi-function ocean platform which is composed on tire and plastic butt. The function of ocean platform includes: 1. culturing fisheries resource 2. floatable breakwater 3. cage aquaculture 4. game fishing and swimming pool. With combining these functions, it was expanded as a leisure paradise which is located on the sea surface. Hai-Kou is on the pathway to Ken-Ting National Park. It’s also next to National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium and it’s fundamental facilities has established well. In the situation of convenient traffic and many visitors, Hai-Kou would have a great potential to develop recreational fishery. This study used contingent value method (CVM) to evaluate the willingness to pay (WTP) of tourist participate in ocean platform activities. Survey results showed 79.3% of tourists were willing to participate in ocean platform activities. The WTP for ocean platform activities is NT$448 capitation, and the estimated potential benefits is between NT$80,000,000 and NT$189,000,000 Finally, this study could provide some suggestions to government and related stakeholder at Hai-Kou area for developing the recreational fishery.
