Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程所 === 95 === Most cell phone chargers in Taiwan are inserting chargers. However, the voltage, frequency, and socket are different in foreign countries. They have many accessories, and this makes them inconvenient to use. Nevertheless, solar power is a free-charge and easy accessible energy. Therefore, the thesis of this research is to design a cell phone charger that uses solar power to function. The content of this research can be categorized into four divisions: introduction to solar cell, various forms of charging and their applications, introducing the boost-up circuit, and the circuit design. This research is devoted to create a solar power system that relies on sunlight energy input by using the characteristics of solar cell.
