Therefore, the FEM will be employed to discuss the magnetostatic analysis and transient properties of the BLDCM in this thesis. More specifically, the electromagnetic torque and the cogging torque of the BLDCM will be assessed when altered the geometries such as the alterations of the thickness of the permanent magnet, the air gap, and the shape of the stator of the BLDCM.
