Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 物理學系 === 95 === This research aims to study on molecular dynamic behavior and electro-optical response of the different terminal chains ferroelectric liquid crystals mixture with and without doping of Anthraquinone dye.The spontaneous polarization of FLCs was measured by utilizing Automated LC Property. Dielectric properties of FLCs by using high precision LCR meters(HP4284A). Dielectric spectra were further analyzed the framework of Debye theories. The electro-optical response of dye doped and pure FLCs mixture were analyzed to compare the relation parameters of dielectric properties and spontaneous polarization. In this work, the spontaneous polarization and viscosity of all sample has been measured. As the result, we could figure out the correlation between experimental and variation of additive dye molecule. The measurement of electro-optical shows that spontaneous polarization、viscosity and electric field exactly affect the response time both of dye doped and pure FLCs samples. The dielectric spectra measured of pure FLCs showed that Goldstone motion was enhanced by higher terminal chains FLCs. It was observed that the dielectric data in the low concentration dye doped mixture are comparable to that of the undoped FLCs compound.
