Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 95 === The purpose of this research is to explore the psychological demand confusion of junior high school students. Furthermore, the relationships between ‘family atmosphere’ and ‘self concept’ are also concerned in this study. This paper utilized survey method. Survey instruments were sent to 1069 students of public junior high schools in Kaohsiung City and County and Pingtong County.1027 questionnaires were collected, with 96.07% response rate. The survey instruments included ‘The Rating Form on Psychological Demand Confusion of Junior High School Students’ by the researcher, ‘Family Atmosphere Rating Form’ by Tsai, and ‘Self Concept Rating Form’ by Juang. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation method, and multiple regression methods. The conclusions are shown below 1. The entirety situation of psychological demand confusion of junior high school students were ‘below the average’, especially in ‘self-esteem demand confusion’. 2. The family atmosphere of junior high school students were shown ‘above the average’, especially in ‘family request’. 3. The self concept of junior high school students were shown ‘above the average’, especially in ‘self in school’. 4. Girls had higher degree of psychological demand confusion. 5. Boys, grade 1, living with parents and brothers and sisters, had better self concepts. 6. Girls, grade 1, living with parents and fewer brothers and sisters, felt better family atmosphere. 7. Students of higher rating of ‘family atmosphere’ and ‘self concept’ had lower psychological demand confusion. 8. ‘Family atmosphere’ and ‘self concept’ could be viewed as predictions of psychological demand confusion, especially in ‘psychological self‘.
