For help bamboo related business transition and add value of bamboo’s products, the government had initiated the quality standard of bamboo charcoal and to establish forest product certified agricultural standard (CAS). However, the participating in rate of CAS of bamboo charcoal firms was low. The purpose of this study was to invest gate the intention and what are the influence factors of the firms of bamboo charcoal to adopt the CAS. This study applied involvement theory and surveyed the bamboo charcoal firms by mail questionnaires, and had received 102 effective samples to proceed statistics analysis. The conclusions are summarized as follows: 60% of the firms expressed they were willing to adopt the CAS, but they still did not understand about forest product of CAS, and it only 6.9% sample firms adopted the CAS actually. The test results found: the ratio of bamboo charcoal products, the years of produced bamboo charcoal, the type of firms and different industries are suitable for organize are difference with firm’s intentions, then the ratio of bamboo charcoal products, the years of produced bamboo charcoal and the involvement level of realization and attitude of decision maker is positive relation with the firm’s intentions (P<0.05), and other variables no significant difference. The result proves that lack popularizing is the main factor, and the suggestion was as follows: Popularizing should through the media of the TV or the network by Industrial Technology Research Institute or Forestry Bureau to raise the realization and demand of consumers. Holding conference of bamboo charcoal to increase the realization and the demand of firms, and holding the relevant large-scale activity to promote and teach at the same time.
