Learning forgiveness helps people face the unfair offence, decrease resentment、anger and fear, and improve personal freedom, peace and happiness. The purpose of this research aims at designing a forgiveness curriculum of life educatin with the topic of “Dare Love Not Hate” in senior high school based on 「Processes in Interpersonal Forgiveness」(Enright and the Human Development Study Group,1996), and examine the efficiency of curriculum intervention as well as pupils’ learning process. The study was constructed by “quasi-experimental design” and ”convenience sampling”.The participants of the study consist of 4 classes(172 persons) of students on grade one in one senior high school in Taipei . There are 2 classes of 78 persons in “experiment group”, and there are 2 classes of 94 persons in “control group”. Participants of the experiment groups attended intervention curriculum composed of 8 units, while participants of control groups did not receive any curriculum during the period of experimentation. The pre-test was conducted a week before the curriculum intervention, and the post-test was proceeded a week after the intervention. In the aspect of the evaluation of the efficiency of curriculum, concerning the quantitative data, it was proceeded by the t test to the mean deviation of 2 independent sample clusters, to investigate the influence of intervention curriculum on “forgiveness” and “trait anger” by α<0.05. Main findings from the analysis of qualitative data are the followings: 1.The changes of scores towards the item “ forgiveness” between the pupils in both experiment groups and control groups after the experiment have reached significant differences (p<0.05). 2.The changes of scores towards the item “trait anger” between the pupils in both experiment groups and control groups after the experiment have not reached significant differences. Concerning the qualitative data, the content analysis was made according to the interview with one student,the main finding is as the following:the curriculum intervention can improve the pupil’s forgiveness and make learning and changes in cognitive、affection and behaviour phase. In the aspect of the evaluation of the participants’ learning process, the qualitative and quantitative analysis was made according to the “evaluation sheet” writing by the participants, in order to understand the related factors of the curriculum. The main finding is as the following:Participants hold positive attitude with the content 、self-learning、teaching and total evaluation of the curriculum. The researcher also provided the observation、reflection and suggestion during the teaching process by the ”teaching process records ”. The researcher has conducted further discussions towards the research results presented above and proposed suggestions as a reference for future research and empirical application.
