This study employs “Leadership Aptitude Test” as a instrument and interview as a subordinate means to analysis the phenomenon of leadership of elementary school fifth-sixth granders students in Tai-chung City. The subjects selected from each administrative area in Tai-chung City in 94 academic years are chosen from eight elementary schools--- sixteen classes of the fifth and sixth graders. The valid samples are 376 and the researcher also interviews six students. According to the test results and data, the researcher carries out statistics analyses. The valid samples are presented in the forms of the percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, the t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Interview is written down words by words and then was analyzed. From the analysis of the test results and interviews, the following conclusions are made: 1. The average performance of leadership of elementary school fifth-sixth granders students in Tai-chung City surpasses the average performance of other students in Taiwan. 2. The elementary school fifth-sixth granders students in Tai-chung City from different variable background demonstrate their leadership performance differently. (1)The performance of leadership of Elementary school fifth-sixth granders students is difference between genders and leading roles. (2)The performance of leadership of Elementary school fifth-sixth granders students is no difference between sex. (3)Students with high academic performance better than medium academic performance students. (4)Students from high and medium social economic status family excel students from low income family in leadership aptitude test. 3. The result of interview, except communicative ability, accords with students’ performance in leadership aptitude test.
