Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教育學系 === 95 === Han Dynasty is one of most prosperous dynasties in Chinese history. There were magnificent achievements in various aspects, including education. The Official School System(Guan-Xue System, 官學制度) was established and adopted by the following dynasties. Moreover the Great School(Tai-Xue, 太學) was established and regarded as a pioneering work at that time. The Civil Service Nomination System(Cha-Ju System, 察舉制度) was another great establishment in Han dynasty. The purpose of this study is to explore the background which the Official School and the Civil Service Nomination System were established and how these establishments developed and to find out the implications for the current education. This study was carried out through the following steps: First, to understand the politic background of Han dynasty; Second, to discuss the Official School System, which divided into the central and local official school; Third, to explore the advantages and disadvantages of the Civil Service Nomination System; Finally, to explore the connection between politics background of Han Dynasty, the Official School System and the Civil Service Nomination System. The implications about the Official School System are as follow. First, Confucianism became mainstream idea in China through venerating Confucianism and establishing the Official School System. Second, to cultivate the talent through establishing school was adopted by the following dynasties even now. Third, it is necessary for the central government to concern more about local education. There are also some implications about the Civil Service Nomination System. First, the Civil Service Nomination System is still adopted even now in different way. Second, it is important to avoid the drawback in current situation which the Civil Service Nomination System had faced in Han Dynasty. Third, it is worth to do more researches to find out a proper and fair system which can select competent officials but without drawback.
