Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 環境教育研究所 === 95 === The purpose of this research was to establish a conceptual model of climbers integrating leisure involvement, satisfaction and loyalty. The specific objectives were as follows: 1 to understand climbers’ leisure involvement, satisfaction and loyalty; 2. to explore the relationships among climbers’ socio-demographic characters, leisure involvement, satisfaction and loyalty; 3. to construct and validate the structural model among leisure involvement, satisfaction and loyalty; and 4. to examine the causal relationships among leisure involvement, satisfaction and loyalty. The participants of this study were people who participanted the rock climbing activity. A total of 509 valid questionnaires were collected. Establishing from the previous literature, we tested the conceptual model and found that leisure involvement and satisfaction are antecedents of climbers’ loyalty. Based on the research findings: 1. climbers’ leisure involvement were medium, among them attraction were the highest, the some of centrality were the lowest. Satisfaction were medium, among them psychological face were the highest, the some of social face were the lowest. Loyalty were medium, among them propose purpose were the highest, the some of endure costs were the lowest. 2. there were significant differences among climbers’ social-demographic characteristics, leisure involvement, satisfaction and loyalty. 3. The overall modified model was fair fit the data (GFI=0.93, SRMR=0.030, RMSEA=0.084, CFI=0.97). After conducting the Structural Equation Modeling, the results showed that the climbers’ leisure involvement and satisfaction positively and significantly influenced loyalty (γ2=0.50, β1=0.47); their leisure involvement also positively and significantly influenced satisfaction (γ1=0.89). According to above results, this study proposed some managerial suggestions, such as to promote climbers’ leisure involvement and satisfaction by encouraging them to participate in program development and providing various rewarding system in order to enhence their loyalty. Finally, the recommendations for future research were also discussed and proposed.
