Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 95 === The main purpose of this study was to explore the effects of assistive technology (AT) in-service training course. The 60 teachers who came from 6 special schools for mentally retarded participated in the experiment. They were divided into two groups based on their scores in AT knowledge. The research used pretest and posttest design with two no equivalent groups of quasi-experimental design. The experiment group (n=30) participated in a web-based AT training programs while the controlled group (n=30) didn’t accepted any instruction. The independent variable is a web-based assistive technology courses. The dependent variable is the learning effectiveness which include knowledge of AT and the will of using AT, and the satisfaction on the web-based program. The web-based assistive technology course was put on the website for the experimental group on line any time for eight weeks. Descriptive statistics, t-test, two-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation were utilized to analyze the data. The major finds were listed as followings: 1. The experimental group’s score of AT knowledge was better than the controlled group. 2. The experimental group’s score of will of using AT was better than the controlled group. 3. There were no significant correlations between the score of AT knowledge and the degree of the satisfaction on the web-based program. 4. There were significant correlations between the will of using AT and the degree of satisfaction on the web-based program.
