Purposes: The purposes of this study was to compare the differences between the superior and inferior 10m Air Pistol athletes’ aiming track parameter when they were performing shooting. And explore the correlation between the scores and aiming track parameter before shooting. Methods: Using RIKA Home Air Pistol trainer system to receive the aiming track signal of infrared rays, and to collect the athletes’ aiming track data by the software, RIKA Home trainer 2.05 edition. We used a JVC camera (60Hz) to record the aiming track locus and to digitize the coordinates of the aiming track locus by using Kwon3D motion analysis system. Result: From the results we found that there were significant differences (p<.05) in scores and score standard deviations between the superior and inferior athletes. There were insignificant differences (p>.05) in the duration time of aiming, aiming time standard deviations and pellets distribution and distribution standard deviation. During three seconds, one second and 0.5 second before shooting, the superior athletes’ aiming track shaking displacement was less than inferior athletes’. There was a significant negative correlation (p<.05) between point and aiming track from the sixteen subjects data.. Conclusion: Before shooting, the superior athletes’ aiming track area was smaller than the inferior athletes’.
