However, commonly approaches are necessary to take a lot of time and limited the tabular precision. In addition, most relevant AVP computational softwares are merely using intercept method. These conditions initiated to develop AVP software to fix the problems of the AVP. In this thesis, many softwares, included the Observed Altitude Software (ObsAltS), Running Fix Software (RunFixS), Revised Intercept Method Software (RIMS-1, RIMS-2, RIMS-3), Spherical Triangle Method Software (STMS) and Simultaneous Equal-altitude Equations Method Software (SEEMS) are developed by using MATLAB to tackle the problems of the AVP. The advantages of using these softwares are accurate, rapid and simple. Diagrams are provided to define computing procedures and formulates. Besides, benchmark examples of classical text book are included to demonstrate these developed sfotwares. Finally, several concrete suggestions are also proposed to base on AVP.
