Data were collected via survey interviews and a questionnaire survey. Subjects of the survey interviews were advisory group members, while subjects of the questionnaire survey were Taipei County science teachers. The main findings were as follows. 1. Current operational conditions of Taipei County Advisory Group of the Domain of Natural Science and Life Technology a. The organizational structure of the advisory group: most teachers knew the existence of the advisory group and adopted a supportive attitude towards it. b. Consulting methods and content: symposiums and domain course knowledge met teachers’ needs the most. c. Teacher in-service learning: half-day workshops with hands-on experiences scheduled in winter/summer vacation were teachers’ favorite. d. Issues and outlook: the major hindrance to the workshops was “inconvenience of location.” “Internet access,” accordingly, could help teachers solve the problem simultaneously. “Ability of the application of teaching strategies” and “science domain course knowledge” were the professional competency science teachers lacked the most. 2. Operational performance of Taipei County Advisory Group of the Domain of Natural Science and Life Technology a. Taipei County elementary science teachers held positive attitudes towards the operational performance of Taipei County Advisory Group of the Domain of Natural Science and Life Technology. Of all the orientations, “goal attainment orientation” had the highest level of satisfaction. “Innovation research orientation” reached the second highest level of satisfaction. However, “professional service orientation” had lower level by comparison. b. Background variables of operational performance of the advisory group including sex, age, seniority, science teaching seniority, highest education level, major and school district didn’t achieve a significance level. However, background variables of “current position,” “total period of science courses per week,” and “school size” reached a significance level of 0.05 on the response differences of the “Operational Performance of Taipei County Advisory Group Questionnaire.” 3. Influence factors of organizational operations of Taipei County Advisory Group of the Domain of Natural Science and Life Technology a. External environmental factors: policy analyses of higher competent authorities had more influence. b. Organizational member factors: core members’ lead strengthened core members’ centripetal force. c. Organizational structural factors: there should be a permanent establishment and paid staff should be hired to do the job. d. Organizational interaction factors: conveners’ leadership styles and advisor group members’ professional dialogue were influential. e. Organizational technology factors: hardware/software backup, personnel backup, and review of job schedule were important. f. Organizational mission factors: reinforce the consulting function of the advisory group by diverse consulting methods. 4. Make suggestions according to the research results so as to serve as a reference for education administration and advisory groups. 熊召弟 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 225 zh-TW
