Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 95 === This research try with actual field works and interviews with local elders study the method of traditional stone carve technique and it’s material application, and the relation between this technique and environment, from each stone carve building to formulate the ecological characteristic and environment idea of the traditional stone carve engineering method of chipe islet. So the process of this thesis mainly made of field works and actual interviews, and use the historical archival data to support. The main structure of this research is divided into third parts:
The first part discuss the development and the material resource of applied experiences of stone carve of chipe islet from it’s natural and social environment. The traditional building technique is influenced by the natural and social environment, so the development of building technique is often the means that to solve the special needs of constraction of ordinary people.
The second part discuss the applied methods of stone carve of Shek Hu of chipe islet in Peng-hu , traditionally stone carve construction work method is used universally because real life and production need, for adapting the resource short of environment condition, craftsman's carrying on constructing engineering has to be familiar with each kind of environment knowledge as: Geography, runway, direction of wind and breeze power, tide and current, can match the expectation and the principle of practicality and economy.
The third part is applied object and experience which inquires into a chipe islet to carve stone experience to develop and its environment idea, analyze the ecosystem characteristic of its technique further. In addition to flower island, the rest of islands mostly constitute by the basalt and the deposition rock. The stone is the environment resource that the past person in Peng-hu makes use of most well, the rock develops of building form and cultural content hence become obvious local special features in Peng-hu as: Vegetables house, Lao Gu Stone, Shek Hu, grave, stone tower, camp head and Shek Cam Dang.
