Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 95 === This study presents an experimental investigation of reinforced concrete dapped-end beams with larger shear span-to-depth ratio(a/d)and lower shear reinforcement. Forty specimens were tested to study the effects on ultimate shear strengths of dapped-end beams of concrete strength (f’c), shear span-to-depth ratio(a/d),vertical shear reinforcement(Av)and horizontal shear reinforcement(Ah).Test results indicate that the recommendations proposed by PCI Design Handbook 【1】、Hwang and Lee【2】and Appendix A of ACI 318-05【3】are not conservative for predicting the shear strengths of reinforced concrete dapped-end beams with larger shear span-to-depth ratio(a/d)and lower shear reinforcement. Based on test results in this study and the results presented in previous studies 【8】、【9】、【10】、【13】, the recommendations for improving the design of reinforced concrete dapped-end beams are made in this study.
