Firstly, the mathematic model of SRM is derived. Secondly, the switched reluctance motor drive system is implemented based on DSP. Then, a fuzzy control system, and a neural network control system are developed to control SRM drive system. The control systems are implemented by fixed-point DSP Vissim VS–ECD2407. Finally, they are compared with proportional-integral control, fuzzy control and neural network control for control performance themselves. The neural network control is better than proportional-integral control and fuzzy control for load-adjusted ability.
