Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 光電與材料科技研究所 === 95 === It is well-known that the silhouette of a plastic aspherical lens is delicately related to the plastic injection flow condition. For example, even a slight shrinkage of molten plastic (owing to some undesirable temperature variations), or a mere imbalance in the fluency of the material flow can all result in severe distortion in the output lenses. As a matter of fact, the lens shape practically determines the ultimate optical and image qualities to such an extent that the shape variations among a given type of lenses produced from parallel multiple injection cavities become a dominant cost factor. This work thus intends to address the R&D, manufacturing and mass production phases of the plastic injection process established for the making of lenses for high-pixel cameras to be equipped on the portable phones. In particular, two key issues are attacked, namely, under several pre-determined injection conditions the relationship between the plastic flow imbalance and the lens surface profile distortion. Finally, a conclusion will be drawn from conducted experiments, and based on this a new perspective will be offered.
