Description
Summary:碩士 === 實踐大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 95 === Abstract This research takes the evolution of China financial systems, the theory of enterprise internationalization, the strategic of investment, the study of cultural heritage, the analysis of current Taiwan banks investment status in China, Cross-Strait political policy, and case studies into considerations. Based on above, this thesis discusses several entry modes and strategies to help Taiwan corporate bankers decide when, how, and where to invest in China. As a result, the thesis provides Taiwan banking investor’s useful marketing strategies in entering mainland markets. China has changed its foreign capital regulation, statute, related monetary act, and implementation. The promise to reopen its finance exchange after joining WTO, and the implementation of CEPA in Hong Kong, both encourage foreign banks to open branches in China. Are Taiwan banks ready to join China’s financial markets? Case studies of two largest financial holding companies in Taiwan are discussed These two companies have full filled the criteria for entering Chinese markets. They can either choose to invest through a constituent company or via a regional city bank in China merged in the third country, as long as Taiwan government sets up relative rules and regulations. The conclusions: Time for entry is determined by when Hong Kong branches are opened. Areas for entry are determined by regions, which have largest Taiwanese businesspeople population. There are seven kinds of entry modes. Using a regional city bank located in the third country to enter China market should be chosen as the main entry mode. . Five suggestions are for Taiwanese government to lift the ban on Taiwanese banks investment in China. The main suggestion is to allow Taiwan banks to go to China to establish constituent companies, or to enter China indirectly, and to establish at least one international anchor bank in order to lower country’s economy risks.
