This thesis reports to improve learners’ mind and Japanese communicative ability through SGE activities. Through this activity, I noticed that most of the participants were satisfied to unrest or reduce anxiety, facilitate their will to learn, relieve solitude and to communize feeling. And I noticed as well that most of the participants were satisfied to communicate with each other in Japanese. It is a challenge to improve mind with foreign languages. Through this activity based on counseling theory, I found one way that the students can express themselves, in keeping the feeling. We Japanese lectures should develop more activities to improve our students’ mind and Japanese linguistic ability at the same time.
