The production team attempts to change the type of educational video on a serious topic of “anti-drugs” to be more in touch with daily lives to attract the attention of younger generation. Several view points were incorporated during the filming process, including match competition of Taekwondo that attracts young people, love story of idol films, general knowledge of banned drugs with specialized banned drugs for sports, the examination process of banned drugs in competitive sports, and the consequences of using them. Hence, with the story in a young school environment, there are honesty and love, laughter from winning the tournament and loneliness from losing, temptation from devil and struggle with lost, competition with peers and caring from teachers, and courage and tears facing a new beginning. Authorized by Tzu Chi Anti-Doping Testing Center to make this educational film, total length 61 minutes, this drama was filmed in Digital Betacam NTSC format. The main goal is to educate athletes they should have a healthy mind for fair competition, and not to win by luck or cheating, and to have the right sportsmanship: After 10 years of great effort, Tzu Chi Anti-Doping Testing Center has passed ISO 17025 and WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) authentication, and in the process of getting certified by IOC (International Olympic Committee), in commitment to build a world certified Anti-Doping Testing Center. This production has been completed in both English and Chinese subtitles, in hope to educate the world about basic knowledge of banned drugs and the correct perception of not using them; This technical report and production procedure will be provided for other producers who wish to make similar educational videos.
