The method of this study firstly used optical fiber as the main fabric material, then designed and created the optical fiber fabric with three different curve pattern drafts, subsequently it was through the light stimulation of this optical fiber fabric on the man’s visual neuro-system , to change the brain wave. The EEG biofeedback instrument was used for the measurement of the brain wave changes as well as using the questionnaire to obtain the relevant information. All these data were used to evaluate the result of this study. There were 15 each of the male and female participants in this experiment. From this experiment showed that after different flashing frequency of light stimulation of different curve pattern draft, the participants’ brain wave all change to a state of sleepiness which was different from the relaxation mode before stimulation. During the same process, the female participants had more significant sleepy state effect than the male and age group between 30 to 49 years of age participants also had more significant sleepy state effect than the other age groups. From the questionnaire’s result also showed that it derived the same conclusion as the aforesaid brave waves’ experiment. Hence, the conclusion derived is that in general when a person’s visual neuro-system is subject to the light stimulation from optical fiber fabric , it can effect stress relaxation and the ability to attain sleepiness.
