TCP/IP protocol shall be modified to support mobility for mobile devices and communication devices to roam from one network to another. The research issues on mobile communication such as security, authentication and integrity become increasingly important. In 2004, Mufti and Khanum developed a method to prevent the Mobile IP registration from attack. But we can find out some weakness in their registration phase. A malicious node attack could succeed. In the thesis, we will propose two new registration schemes for mobile IP to resist the weakness of mufti and khanum. Based on the security property of one-way hash function and smart card advised by Lee and Lin in 2005, our scheme improves the security to resist some attacks.
