But it is ineffective in low-frequency problem. Active noise control is then developed to reduce low-frequency noise. This thesis studies active noise-cancellation headsets with feedback control. Active noise-cancellation headsets can protect personnel in a highly noisy environment such as aircraft cabin, utility room, heavy truck or military vehicles. The active noise-cancellation headset is implemented with FXLMS algorithm which takes the secondary path of the system into account in this study and the transfer function of secondary path is obtained from system identification
