However, there is indeed a substantial difference between museum theaters and conventional theaters as these two disciplines are distinctly dissimilar. To discuss the roles of theaters in museology, we need to first examine the characteristics of museums, including space, time, personnel and collection, and clarify the related concepts. The results of this study include: (1)The academic research can be presented in the form of dramas. The themes and details of such dramas should therefore be as factually accurate as possible. (2)Drama is one of the best means to bring life into museum collections again, but it is essential to first carry out rigorous research on the original contextual information of the objects. (3)Different types of dramas can be used for different types of museums and displays. (4)The primary aim of museum dramas should always be educational. (5)Non-didactic dramas appeals to audiences easier. To reinforce the messages, explanations can be added at the end of the dramas. (6)Interpreting laws directly is an viable option, if done in an interesting, not ‘product placement’, manner. (7)Dramas dealing with daily life events are more likely to be appreciated by audiences, but attention should be paid in order to avoid swaying public opinions. (8)In addition to stage dramas inside the museum, museums( judicial museums) can perform the dramas in schools, or in educational campaigns organized by judicial authorities. (9)Interactivities such as role play encourage audience to participate. If audiences can use their own language or even improvise in the participation, the result will be more desirable. (10)Different dramas should be produced in accordance to different sorts of audiences.
