This study utilizes the eco-stove of simple design that is made of cement with cast iron casing to generate combustible gases. This allows the substitution of the bio-gas for the natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas in the rural area. It also improves the effective use of natural resources. This study was aimed to discover the best condition for the eco-stove to operate by way of recording and analyzing the exterior temperature under different experimental arrangements. Results showed that the eco-stove can be used to produce the combustible gases from rice husk, which produces more gases as the temperature of pyrolysising process increases. Furthermore, charcoal with higher carbon content generates more combustible gases. Also, the wider the ventilator opening angle the more combustible gases produced. However, less available gases are collected at the outlet end due to the loss at the air intake point. The benefit of using rice husk as a renewable resource in Taiwan was also calculated. The results showed that the CO2 emission can be reduced by 0.12-0.60% if the rice husk on the island is recycled by 20-100%. Furthermore, the reduction rate can be greatly inproved if other types of biomass were included. 吳世卿 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 82 zh-TW
