We also dealt with how to carry on the pressure diagnosis and pressure management. The research adopted semistructured interviews, selected 10 voluntary officers by the stratified sampling way to conduct interviews, and formed the interview records. We used three-stage coding process such as the open coding, the axial coding and the selective coding to generalize the voluntary officers’ 12 sources of individual pressure,18 sources of the organizational pressure, and 6 sources of social pressures. 18 sources of the organization consist of 11 pressure sources of "the army organization” and 7 pressure sources of "the military police organization.” Facing each kind of pressure source mentioned above, this study generalized 15 kinds of pressure management adopted by the voluntary officers of military police corps in central Taiwan. The pressure management style adopted most frequently is individual pressure management style, accounting for 53 percent of pressure management. This proved that the organizational pressure management is not the best preferred as a way to deal with pressure among voluntary officers and may require some advertising and reinforcing. Finally, in view of the research conclusion, this study puts forward the proposal as follows: First, the suggestions for individual pressure management include: 1. Learning to think positive 2. Developing full physical and mental strength 3. Making a good plan for work Second, the suggestions for the organizational pressure management include: 1. Increasing the utility rate of the organizational pressures management 2. Reforming the army culture 3. Increasing the utility rate of the counseling unit in the army Third, the suggestions for the social pressure management include: 1. Communicating more frequently with relatives and friends 2. Mutual support among the fellow officers Fourth, the suggestions for follow-up research can include 1. Conducting the research on other units of armed services 2. Conducting the quantification research Key words: pressure sources, pressure diagnosis, pressure management, military police corps Chin-Yi Chen 陳沁怡 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 136 zh-TW |
