Primarily on account of energy efficiency, the communication models in wireless sensor networks are hence based on the model of “spanning tree,” in which nodes in each level increase by geometric progression. While sensor nodes own another failure-prone property, the model of spanning tree, especially in immobile wireless sensor networks, forms the communication weakness that each child node has only one path to communicate with its parent node. Therefore, by the original model of spanning tree, the thesis adapts the model by arithmetic progression, integrates the flat topology control mechanism [1] with the model to strengthen the model robustness, and then devises a corresponding control mechanism to examine its feasibility. From the experimental implementation, the prototype feasibility and network robustness are both demonstrated. For in each quadrilateral, i.e. a fixed area, the communication energy is efficiently consumed and avoids the possible unnecessary consumption. Finally, the thesis discusses the simulation results and other control mechanisms, which may further achieve higher energy efficiency and reduce the failure-prone overheads in the sensor nodes. none 王文楓 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 64 zh-TW
