Many of the constructions are still in use right now after decades, while parts of them are even appointed as historic relics or historical architectures due to their special historical meanings or state of the art in certain level. Therefore, the bodies of the walls supporting these constructions have become very important. This dissertation is to discuss whether the previous walls during the Japanese ruling period have followed the set regulations based on the sizes, methods of making, height, width, window and design. Additionally, compared with contemporary walls, this paper is to study the relationship between the former construction regulations and the methods of structure examination.
