Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 化學工程與材料科學學系 === 95 === The optimal parameters of PID controllers were obtained using the proposed optimal parameter tuning method for dead-time processes. The optimization method adopts a performance index of the integral of the squared error (ISE) based on product-to-sum decomposition procedure. This optimization approach can be a better way to search for the optimal parameters instead of using the integral of the absolute error (IAE) which is difficult to be expressed by mathematical forms. Moreover, the optimization problem has to consider the constraints of the specified decay ratio, the gain margin, and the integral squared error of closed-loop system for the selection of the controller parameters. Results show that the optimal parameters of the controller can be obtained with excellent performances for both long and short time-delay systems. The obtained optimal parameters can also perform greatly on time-varing systems. The proposed method can provide a way to improve the parameters tuning strategy to obtain optimal parameters of PID controllers.
