Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 95 === The socio-technical perspective suggests both the organizational and technical aspects of Information System Development Projects (ISDPs) frequently change, the Information System Development team’s flexibility in responding to these changes has become a critical success factor for system development. Nevertheless, few studies focus on the flexibility of Information System Development teams. The purpose of this study is to explore the flexibility of ISD teams. Based on the socio-technical perspective, three primary factors are identified: (a) the change of business requirement, (b) the change of technical development, and (c) the change of the process of software development. Through the application of Delphi Research, the opinions of a panel of experts were collected as the primary data of this study. Our result indicates that the construct of ISDP team flexibility is presented as a multidimensional construct consisting of three constituents: flexibility responding the changes in (a) business requirements, (b) system development techniques, and (c) systems development processes. These sub-constructs are labeled as business requirements flexibility, system development techniques flexibility, and systems development processes flexibility.
